* tools > preferences > show settings: all > input/codecs > "record directory or filename", e.g.
C:\folder, save
* while the stream is playing, view > advanced controls > red rec button appears at the bottom (shortcut: Shift+R)
If you don't set the directory, then the files should go to C:\Users\<user>\Documents in Win7.
