I sometimes have trouble getting reverse on my corsa - I have to put it back into neutral, wait a few secs then try again & it goes in.
I really hate the sound of someone grinding their gear box into reverse.
Silly Q but why do cars make a diff sound when driving backwards?
Also in a traffic jam once I took my car out of gear but when it started moving again, no matter how hard I tried it wouldn't go into 1st for ages - pretty embarassing as was holding everyone up
