I don't remember Barry Sheene being that rubbish. He was also a great showman/entertainer too, always giving the crowd value for money. There was a race at Oulton Park where he had to pit in the early laps (misfire maybe?) and he came back out later and waited for the front runners to have a great dice with them (Rouse & The Brode if I remember correctly) for a few laps, he was on their pace and very entertaining.

In fact I found out today Bazza was on pole for that Oulton race, so who knows what could have happened if he didn’t have that mechanical problem
