Just found the manufactures standing of the 1989 BTCC at the bottom of the final Silverstone race results:
1. Ford, 260 points
2. BMW, 167 points
3. Vauxhall, 156 points
4. Toyota, 114 points
Don't know how points were distributed and can't work it out either. With Ford winning 13 races and scoring 260 points, that would mean 20 points for a class and overall win...with no dropped scores?
I'm posting this for your suggestions, as I am putting final touches to the drivers standings.
