Roninho should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

It might not be the most competitive thing ever, but at least it might be compelling to see drivers out driving their equipment on the rare occasion. Besides, it's not like them all having the same car has made it easier for the lesser funded to find themselves in F1.

They should work with LMP2 to figure out way to open their technical regs under a cost cap. Get rid of the 3.5 part in the moniker and open it up to LMP2 V8's. Then they have Nissan, BMW, Judd, and Zytek in the fold, with Nissan and BMW having places to put drivers in, in exchange for some ad space/coverage. I believe Toyota also has an LMP2 V8 around, but I'm not sure. Honda has loads of them not being used.
Interesting idea. First of all with all the politics going on it probably will never fly, but that shouldnt stop us from discussing it

I don't see your first suggestion working out, because the 3 different chassis have been build to different rulesets, and one combo will be fastest. Everybody with budget will try to get that car and it will slowly force the other cars out.

Your suggestion of LMP2 is one i see having a bigger chance of succeeding if you put it in one ruleset for chassis, so no gp2 vs wsr vs nippon, but one chassis regulations. If i were WSR management i would try to get a deal with Honda and Toyota to basically implement a super formula class in europe. And either use the current super formula engines, which if i'm not mistaken has the same base (2.0l turbo) as the DTM engines will be in the future, or use LMP2 engines.

That would mean potentially having Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes, Audi and BMW as engine suppliers.
Or go super formula chassis but go for LMP2 engines and have Honda, Toyota, Nissan and BMW as engine manufacturers and some independents options. Reason for going with the super formula chassis is because i think that gives better odds to get Honda and Toyota involved. Once you have 2 manufacturers involved then others can be pursuaded more easy imo. If H&T have no interest then i would go for WSR chassis and LMP2 engines.
