I had a Rapid as a hire car in Switzerland - I was quite impressed with it - plenty of space and I was surprised by how adequate the 1.2 engine was, zipped up and down the Alps with no real bother. The interior was, as you say, a bit plasticky but on the whole it wasn't a bad car.
