It only provides information if you can show that the cars were being pushed to the limit.
Even if the DTM cars WERE being pushed to the limit, the comparison still tells us nothing because Mike Skinner's time was set in a heavily modified truck that is far faster than a standard NASCAR Tundra. It is to NASCAR Trucks as the Porsche 919 Evo is to LMP1 - built on a car designed for the associated rules, but altered well beyond what is allowed in the original series.
