I think you will see Hardpoint succeed and possibly with Earl as a driver but Porsche has the resources to use him elsewhere and let the sins of the brother be forgotten, at least as a stain on him. And again, the coverup or in the case omission seems to be the final straw for Ferriol. It wasn't so much the violation as not coming to them earlier, that's not to say he wouldn't have been let go after. And peeling the EBM stickers off the hauler mid-season cause they couldn't bring the funding promised is not a good look for the team.
