Beejay17 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
racer69 - over the past couple of years I've been going back and having a look at the Mustang, Capri and Monza. Only looking back do you realise what those cars represented. They were the peak of the Trans Am, ETCC and IMSA respectively. While everybody else built home-made specials (and very good ones at that) Allan was able to obtain top class vehicles from around the globe and bring them here.

As has been well publicised, the Mustang was brand-new straight out of Bud Moore's shop. Its sister cars won the Trans Am in '70.

The Capri was ex-Jochen Mass/Toine Hezemans Cologne factory car, flown out here after the Kyalami sports car race after Hans Heyer won the ETCC using a sister car. It was the ultimate production of the BMW/Ford wars.

The Monza was a rebuilt Dekon Engineering car which Allan raced in at a Daytona IMSA round before coming to Australia. Its sister cars went on to win the IMSA series.

Email me if you want more.
