He made a couple of returns actually; after the end of Group C, he ran a Commodore for one season before pulling the plug; he then popped up in Murray Carter's Skyline for Bathurst in 1987, running with Murray again the next year; in 1990, he ran a Falcon in the Australian Production Car Championship. I think business commitments forced him out of the driver's seat several times during his career. Is he still with the family business?
