Just drop (NACAM, British, SMP, SEA)
Or rise (Spain, US, UAE) but these are only 2 years old and will likely drop

Only 7 of the 45 championships run have seen an increase in numbers through a season so it's hardly surprising when 11 turn up to race 1 that they hit single digits in the later rounds.
I don't think that trend applies just to F4. It is also hitting series like Indy Lights and Formula Renault NEZ. It is a natural thing for development series to go through. All things considered F4 is relatively new. I think the market will show more consolidation in the coming years with F4 being the prime beneficiary since it is supported so strongly by the FIA.

But I was reading about the Mexican series and was trying to piece together why one of the leading drivers dropped out the week before the race. Any ideas about that?
