I'm not sure that hiring Herta would help Red Bull in America, unless the test leads to a full time drive. Otherwise, the American public will forget about Brian as quick as you can say "Jeff Gordon". Red Bull is still not widely distributed over here. I'm sure their market share wouldn't register on a graph.
But good luck to him regardless. He is a good road course driver, particularly at Laguna Seca.
