Peugeot dominates from the start until leading #8 has reliability issues and Anthony Davidson crashes into the leading GT class leading 04 Corvette around the half way mark and destroys both cars. Oreca, Audi, HPD and Rebellion have a tough fight throughout the closing stages of the race. One of the Audis and the Rebellion car will have problems late in the race while ORECA beats McNish and Highcroft on strategy, Pro OAK Racing car and Cytosport survive and get good finishes.
