Just one accident caused this to come about. Someone had only simulator experience and apparently drove the car as if he was still on the simulator!

But the regs for the event clearly state that a 'crash course' (pun unintended I hope) will be arranged just before the event for drivers who don't currently have the qualification, so should not be seen as a deterrent.
