You could bolt a Lotus 72 style airbox onto the top of the engine and incorporate the K&N filter in it above the inlet trumpets whilst retaining the open engine look.
I think it would give the cars a unique and raw look which would help to market the formula.
Acres of fiberglass may be efficient but is not that interesting to look at.
