They were very cautious in getting up to speed. It wasn't until the end of the session that they got anywhere near setting a time.
TK said he was pleased to find out what the car could do in the wet and wasn't surprised that McNish was fast.
All the drivers who were interviewed said that the public road parts were very slippery, but the new tarmac areas on the permanent track were (relatively) quite grippy.
