RAP should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
However: Wasn't Maskell's B9 in 1969 observed as being F3/17 by F1R? Did he in fact have two B9s? Both ex Schenken?”
I havn’t found this in the F1R Fact Books. In fact I found no “sightings” recorded of B9s in 1969.

This is what I have on B9s. To avoid misinterpretation I have used letters to label the cars:
Car A. Appears Oct 67 driven by Gethin for Sports Motors. What then?

Car B. Sports Motors entry in 68. Appears at Easter Oulton Park driven by Gethin and Autosport calls it “brand new” so presumably NOT car A. Thereafter raced regularly by Schenken. Chassis #3 per Rabagliati. In 1969 Maskell races Ex Schenken car (Autosport 14/3) until he gets a B15 mid-season. Bev Bond appears in a Maskell B9 at end Sept 69 so would seem to have been kept as a spare to the B15.

Car C. Frank Lythgoe/David Berry. Appears at Easter Oulton Park Autosport calls it “new”. No appearances after 2 June.

Car D. Second Lythgoe car entered for Digby Martland. Dna at Oulton but both cars on grid at Silverstone 27/4. Gethin drives this car 31/5. No appearances after 2/6.

Car E. Red Rose / Chris Williams. Appears Barcelona end March “hastily finished “. Driven by Gethin at Brands Aug Monday. Identified as # 5 twice in sightings in F1R Fact Book.

Car F. Red Rose /Rollinson. Also appears Barcelona. Identified as # 6 end June in F1R Fact Book. 1969 Barrie Smith/Avalon Racing per Autosport 25/4 and Rabagliati.

Car G. John Ralph. Appears at Easter and raced throughout year.

Car H. H Heery. Appears Easter and raced throughout year. Sold to Harry Stiller for 20/10 Brands (Autosport report). For sale by F Williams Autosport 25/10 “has lapped Brands with H Stiller 1’38.2” then to S Saye who appears at Brands end Nov and races car in 1969. Chassis #12 per Rabagliati.

Car I. The B9B. When did this race in 68 (see below)?. In 1969 there are some mainly F Libre races for Arthur Moore.

An entry is listed at Castle Combe Easter for H McLaughlin but Fact Book says dna and there are no further entries so I assume this was a cancelled order.
NOTE this means that 4 cars can be “ex Gethin”.

In the earlier post the B9B is attributed to Sports Motors, Berry and Rollinson. What races do we think this car actually appeared in? At Brands 2/9 Autosport says Rollinson was in “latst F3 Chevron with much stiffer chassis”
