Problem with the support category Safety Car late on Sunday arvo meant a Course Car had to be used in a hurry and because it only had Red or Green lights they went the hazard light option.
Believe all the drivers were warned about it prior to race start, also affected the Aussie Racers before the V8's as well.
They used the proper Safety car on all the other races prior to the problem cropping up.
