The Grand Prix of San Diego has been cancelled permanently. The track was just too short, 1.4 miles, and the city was not able to get on top of the logistics of closing down a large section of downtown streets. Imagine a 42 car field on a 1.4 mile street course. The top LMP's would be into the back of the GT3's before the first lap was over.
