Today the glory of the Argentinian racers in the foreign (López's first GP2 win, Pérez Companc's fourth at SudamF3) was outpaced by the tragedy in local motorsport. After his win, doing a brilliant one-two with his teammate and ex-F1 racer Norberto Fontana in the Argentinian TC2000 race at San Juan, Nicolás Vuyovich entered in the team private flight to the home base at Córdoba... but the plane crashed and Vuyovich, Toyota TC2000 team manager Gustavo Ramonda, Ramonda's little son, and other team members died in the crash.

Sorry that it isn't European Touring series but the TC2000 is European Touring-like series in my country and this info is a breaking new.
RIP Nicolás Vuyovich, Gustavo Ramonda and others of the TC2000 Toyota team.
