Kinda a noobish question, but this is concerning body/track width vs the 911 RSR and 911 GT3R. The 911 GT3R has a max width of about 2000mm, while the 911 RSR (2017 and 2019) are about 2050mm wide. However, both run the same size wheels and tires per Porsche Motorsport documentation.

How is the wider track width achieved on the RSR vs the GT3R aside from widened bodywork? I know that this is technical stuff, but I'm a bit curious as to why the GT3R isn't built to the same width as the RSR (both GT3 and GTE/GTLM allow for a max width of 2050mm).
