Yep, people somehow forget that the best car on the grid has been made even better.
Speaking of one lap pace, Gimmi has done something like this before. He managed to somehow do a 3:53.700 in a 458 GTE in 2014. That's the old GTE regulations don't forget, with less aero and power than today. He was 0.965 seconds clear of everyone else.
