Should you not want a replacement Driver or Choose to make a Tactical Driver Substitution then you can:
You are entitled to one Free Driver Change (More will cost 20 points each)

So Yes you'd get the replacement's points for however many races they are standing in for, before the original driver returns
or if its announced early enough you have the option to make the Substitution.
