First time out in a new car id built and I spun it at Oulton because my instincts were to save it like I would a RWD car, instead of planting the throttle.

A friend had the reverse problem - having rallied FWD for years he switched to RWD. Struggled early on as the front tyres weren't heating up as quickly as he was used to and if the back end stepped out then planting the throttle wasn't a good idea! It takes a change in mindset and seat time to adjust.
