I am kind of surprised that Newgarden was given his qualifying spot back after withdrawing it. Why was his time reinstated while Karam's was not? Seems that both were prevented from a 2nd attempt by the weather.
Karam went out and completed all 4 laps on his run, Newgarden was on track when they waved the yellow.
