So the Championship is heading up north to the Gold Coast for the party atmosphere concrete canyon that is the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit holding the Vodafone Gold Coast 600, the final round of the two driver events and the final round of the Pirtek Enduro Cup.

Will Mr. Lowndes and Mr. Richards continue their lucky form from the Mountain? Can the usual suspects that are Red Bull HRT, Erebus, Tickford, DJR Team Penske and Walkinshaw bounce back from a rather lacklustre Bathurst 1000 and claim top honours and a few surfboards?

The main thing to look out for is the heat and fumes from the hot climate as this track can be a bit toasty to the drivers and also the car killing kerbs and tyre bundles. (Wouldn't be surprising to see a fair few rather second hand bits of carbon-kevlar panels going for sale to punters)
