Most WEC tracks are much more similar to Fuji than Suzuka anyways. Silverstone and probably Nurburgring being exceptions.
There's other issues as GT500s are much slower in hot weather for the summer Fuji race and the Suzuka 1000 is generally the hottest race of the year while SF and F1 are there early and late in the season when it's cool.
