Many drivers opted for smaller or national championships when IMG came and onwards. There are still Swedish and Norwegian drivers doing rounds in Sweden and RallyX with Holte being a regular.
Sverre has retired from racing full time at least. He jumped on the bandwagon for GRC and went pro with Subaru. I will never forget when he and his crew came to Höljes showing off their Subaru clothing as if they were something special.
