Or tried to lobby ACO into having GT1-EVO again (I'm sure the likes of McLaren would have agreed with the sentiment)... it's not like their political influence to the ACO-FIA is lacking...

I totally agree. On a side note... McLaren may get their way with GT1-Evo type regs.
