There were actually three rallysprints run for TV.
1984 They ran up at Blue Range with near stock standard Nissan Bluebirds. Winning car was given away as a prize to the public. Sponsored by JPS.
1985 Run very late in the year. They ran Pipeline both directions. Until I hunt down the photos stashed away I am not sure but believe this was the year Bartlett ran the Camaro. Ran it without the front airdam.
This was also the year that Allport ran in his Mazda and the Audi ran. The two photos below are of the Bond race car, and also the Greg Carr rally car that Greg ran the next year in the ARC.
1986 They again ran Pipeline and again were sponsored by Toshiba. The photo posted above is from the 1986 event.
By the way, Bond changed to #75 because that is what he ran in '87- an Alfa 75.
