Mate that's the biggest load of BS ever. No one is forcing them to drive that hard, and for that matter, no one is forcing them to even enter this round. If the walls are close, the track bumpy, or whatever else, you adjust your driving accordingly. Just like when it rains, they don't all still brake at the same point as in the dry!!
If they are driving THAT hard ( right at or obviously in some cases above their talent level ), then they have to expect to eat concrete, and have no one to blame but themselves, and from my seat, if they're that stupid / hell bent on winning that they'll drive that hard, then they get no sympathy from me when they inevitably eat concrete.
