Have to agree. I've watched the 48 turning a number of times and there is no good reason I can see. The 24 seemed to disturb the air - but there was a lot of daylight between the cars - and round it went by itself. Unless something was plain broken on that car then the aero package is dangerous at those speeds. Accidents will happen in auto racing but we need cars that are not uncontrollable/unpredictable/dangerous by design.
