That Techno brings back memories (see post 1). I marshalled at the 73 British Grand Prix and was kipping in a tent alongside what normally was the Silverstone Club Straight. Techno were having all sorts of problem with the engine and were working late into the night to fix it, We had all been in the bar for a few jars (or more) but nipped into the pits at about 1am to see what was going on. Techno had just started changing yet another engine. Anyway we headed off to the tent for at least a few hours sleep before our 7.30am sign on. Unfortunately Techno managed to change the engine by 4.30 and spent the next half an hour making sure it was ok by having a mechanic drive the bloody thing up and down the Club Straight for half an hour. That was a noisy engine at the best of times but at 4.30 in the morning, with a semi hangover and about 10 feet away it was

I have also forgotten how wide the chassis was!
