The chassis design, as in the roll cage, is
fixed under car of the future. Everything else can be unbolted (or spot welds unpicked) and changed as required. Old chassis are routinely stripped back to the bare spaceframe and rebuilt.
There is no advantage to having a new chassis, not like the old days where there was scope for developments and refinements with a new chassis build. Since the spaceframe design is fixed, it would be equivalent to strip and rebuild a well raced chassis with your latest running gear.
