Correct of course John. It was Snetterton Heath Airbase before that. Previously the only racing in the area was at Fersfield, bit further south.
Due to it being alongside the old A11, I always used to stare out of the car windows as a youngster at the Norwich Straight in case there was a racing car or motorbike on track. (On the odd occasion the family ventured that far south!
