Pretty spot on Mike as far as I know. I think there’s also another body that runs the Monterey Historic’s and other West Coast events. There are still questions over whether East Coast cars are eligible for West Coast events and vice versa, which Tony Parella’s SVRA has been resolving.
There is no unified sanctioning body in the US but they do generally accept FIA licences etc
The main thing with racing in the US is that the distances are huge, local tracks are often 4 hours away, no one can believe that I have 8 circuits within a 2 hour drive.
Not sure how Captain Ron sails in the US, I think he probably buys grids from the above bodies.
