I think they may have finally realized they both can't survive without it.
Mazda-no hybrid lineup so limited marketing but LM24 changes everything
GM-many hats they could wear with a WEC program
Toyota\Lexus- well that's self-explanatory
Glickenhaus-I'm thinking US racing would make him grin ear to ear
Pug- well FCA merger gives them options but doubt convergence would impact their decision
Aston Martin-gets back in the US game and possibly sales
The possible parties of Bentley, Lamborghini, Audi, Ford, etc all have their own reasons for this being positive.
BUT we've all been positive at times (excluding the BOP hatred of course) about the possibilities so always try to temper if with plenty of time for both parties to f (it) up beyond all recognition.
