This sums up the issues with TCR in a nutshell - dull little buzz boxes and nothing that can really be done about that. It gives manufacturers something they seem to like (for now) but that's about it.

I understand your point Fireworks about VW or Honda enthusiasts but I don't think they'd find TCR too exciting either as overall it lacks excitement.

For us here in Oz, with many of our tracks being shorter, bumpier and having more tight corners, fwd cars have typically suffered in comparison to rwd or awd competitors in the same field. That is likely to only exacerbate the dullness of TCR.
