For the Super5000 to have a custom tub complete and a functional chassis not long after the FT5000 would suggest it was born quite awhile ago. The FT5000 tub was purchased complete and the rest will be manufactured locally so they didn't have the worry of manufacturing it beforehand.
Tbh the argument of who was first and who copied who if anyone is pretty irrelevant now and it comes down to which ego's will lead to who's demise.
The fact Lambden didn't have the FT5000 doing laps at the Shannons Nationals last weekend was pretty disappointing though, that's his market and he doesn't appear to be doing an awful lot promoting his product.
