Some doctors seem to offer truly wise recommendations.

My management bought a number of Christmas puddings for the family gathering. None of them were eaten on the day. Fortunately most of them were individual sizes so there is at least some opportunity for a solo consumer to help to consume them before they reach their "use by" date. (March 2018).

She also bought some "Thick Brandy Cream" to go with them. The "use by" date is today so I manned up and started to eat the stuff.

I think I may take heart from your Doctor's advice John. I'm wondering if an an espresso or several with a large spoonful of Cream with Brandy would offer similar medically sound benefits? The idea seems similar enough - in so far that it involves drinking something.

Actually probably spooning something given how thick the thick cream is.
