The kerbs are a problem for the bikes, the saw tooth kerbs that were good at unsettling cars are a no no for a sliding rider, the gravel traps if prepared flat are not a problem and are still in use at the specialist bike tracks, Aragon for instance. Gravel traps are not a problem for bikes BJ.
