This is biggest race of the season in the US and most be demotivating to stand no chance due to BOP
These companies could debut the new gt3s later on in the season or if they want race data they can debut one or two new cars and leave their established teams(i.e Risi, Pfaff, Iron Lynx) to run with the old model so they stand a better chance.
You've literally described what they all know going in, the GT3s have provisional homologation and IMSA can adjust up to the start of the race at their discretion. The teams already know this and could skip the round if they desired or felt it was unfair. But remember you still have to make it 24 hours and cars to get taken out but others incompetence and Merriman is in the race right?
