Congtratulations to crmalcolm on his first win in the Predictions Contest.
This long-awaited win comes in a fascinating round, with very low scores and some big predictions key. His correct predictions of Hamilton in 2nd and Verstappen in 9th helped secure the victory.
What happened
It is striking, but not necessarily surprising, what wasn't predicted. Nobody predicted Tsunoda in the top 10, nor Latifi or Räikkönen.
Neither did anybody guess Gasly would get fastest lap or Ocon would win a poll.
Only crmalcolm, Skam85 and Born Racer Fan predicted a poll score of 7.
Meanwhile, mj088, chunterer and I all had Alonso as Driver of the Day.
Only chunterer got that Alpine would win the team poll and only Skam85 had opted for mixed weather conditions.
Nine out of thirteen entrants have now won this season.
