Slight tangent to thread, but could someone tell me how current safety equipment regs differ from when I mackled together my mini 35 years ago (was it really that long ago
) for club racing. As I remember it, only my bash hat had to be BS or Snell approved, everything else just had to be scrute proof. Is the FIA stuff required for all racers now?
