Abbott wasn't that much slower than the others in the race, despite only having a handful of laps - best lap only a second off the quickest driver. Makes me think that there were issues in qualifying. We'll probably find out when I get to checking out the rest of the year.
Ill let you guys carry on with the results, and just chip in with the news items and extra info on the races where I can (I may go back to the start of my collection and post bits too, where I can - I have no idea where we started, though!). It's all going to get a bit out of synch - I wonder if there's a way we can put it in chronological order, with additional info and comments? It seems like it might end up being a lot of info for a proper website dedicated to this era.......
