Perez had a Haas rejoining the circuit on his inside a second or two before the collision with his teammate. I wonder whether this was a factor in diverting his attention and resulting in him allegedly being unaware of his teammate on the outside? Of course the problem with this argument is that these two have run each other off the track and into walls on numerous occasions before.
His chop on Sirotkin was absolutely appalling - and I can think of no excuses whatsoever. Why no black flag?
