I think it summed it up nicely. There are plenty of TCR cars out there and so it could be a good series with enough cars
As you say though there was no need for the series, as there wasn’t exactly a gap waiting to be filled. There was no demand for a feeder series like the old NSCC.
And yes TCT does seem like a modern Formula Saloons
