Well Brundle always maintained that Senna would retire as soon as he felt the decline start to happen. Wouldn’t have put it past him.

Senna still was on the top of his game in a Williams that was horrible to drive. To get it on pole for the first 3 races of 94 was something, especially as he always felt Schumi’s Benetton was illegal.

It’s always interesting. Would there have been more incidents than Senna had with Prost? Probably. Schumi was a lot more stubborn than the professor. Certainly 94 could have been very interesting once the Williams was sorted. And I don’t think Senna would have made as many mistakes as Hill did in 95. Schumi would have found it a lot tougher and all for the good of the sport

Senna would have probably have equaled Fangio’s record before retiring. Also his final wish would have been to drive for Ferrari
