I'm encouraged to see Toyota getting a place on the board. I think they're 8 years into a 10 year contract to support the TRS, so possibly they're thinking to the future and looking to renew/extend the deal. For me the TRS was the standout class of the summer and I'd like to see its future gauranteed beyond 2014. As for the IRC joining, (doesn't the 'I' stand for Independant) they've been putting on some good racing with interesting cars, so why jeopardize that? Although, the next gen. NZV8s chassis' that have been built could find a home amongst the IRC classes.
