Accident damage that could not be repaired in time would fall under force majeure, pretty standard in most agreements to appear. That is exactly how it works in Supercar.

No it isn't - force majeure applies if the car can't be repaired. Would be much more of an issue for GT teams, cars not as easy to repair, smaller number of people on each team etc.

Personally I think that it's WAY too early to be getting stressed one way or the other on a REC structure. No doubt there'll be plenty to talk about when the ACTUAL plans for category management are finalised and announced.
